The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring Review

It began by the forging of the great rings, three were given to the elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings, seven rings to the dwarf lords; great miners and craftsman of the mounting holes, and nine rings were gifted to the race of men; who above all else desire power. For within these rings was bound the strength and will to govern each race, but all of them were deceived, for another ring was made.

In the land of Mordor, in the fires of mount doom, the dark lord Sauron forges in secret a master ring, to control all others and into this ring he forges his cruelty, malice and his will to dominate all life…One ring to ruling all. One by one built by the power of the ring but there were some who resist for the freed of the middle earth.

My Review

I remember when I was just 14 years old and they were all watching this movie on HBO. I can freshly recall it, for feel drowsy every time I attempt to watch it. I find it hard to comprehend because of the language which I find it difficult to understand since English is not my native language. I let it pass until I reach 20 years old. I felt the desire of watching the movie so now; I am here to make a review of this epic film.

The movie was three hours and nineteen minutes in length. It was pretty long and somewhat poetic, but the story was truly a masterpiece of J.R.R Tolkien. I thought it was a waste of time watching it, but I was too wrong, the film was magnificent. It was fraught with mythical creatures that captivate my eyes.

In this first series of the book “Lord of the Ring”; elves, dwarf lords, and men have created an alliance; a fellowship with the ring bearer named “Frodo Baggins” – a hobbit. These are imaginary good-natured little people who have brown furry leg and live underground. The fellowship aims to destroy the ring by bringing it to the fiery volcano where it was made.

I really made a nice time watching the movie. It was filled with inspiration and life lesson’s which you can emulate and use in your daily existence. It shows how to look down (humility) and to respect every conform creature which can be applied in the real world; the different races is not a hindrance to unity.

My Rating

I want to give this movie a thousand of applause. The story was epic and I commend the sound effect and theme song, it was harmonious. This movie deserves a perfect five star! Can’t wait to see the next episode in the “Lord of the Rings – The Two Towers
