The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug Review

As they continue their journey to reclaim again the stolen kingdom “Eredor” which was the last kingdom of dwarves in the “Middle Earth” from a fierce dragon who stole and spewed desolating Smaug around the kingdom’s premise.  Mr. Bilbo Baggins will serve as light when other lights went out and will give hope to retrieve the stolen land.

My Reaction

The movie gets even better and better as the story goes. I was enthralled by the essence and deep message of the story. It serves as a bright light for those who look themselves small and weak. It was an inspirational movie that proves that even a Halfling can help and save a thousand lives, that there is greatness in all sizes.

The map that will lead them to “Eredor” gate has an embedded riddle saying that “they keyhole will reveal itself as the last light…” And when the last ray of the sun settled and Thorin did not find the keyhole, they were about to quit, but gladly Bilbo did not surrender and find out that the last light that was described in the riddle was the light of the moon. As the Burglar of fellowship; Bilbo is in tasked to find the “Arkenstone” which is the heart of the mountain. He will be endangering his self against the dragon.

Thorin was about to be manipulated by the madness brought by the Arkenstone but thankfully he manages to cease and control it. They fight and tried to kill the dragon, but they failed to do it though, they have succeeded to make the dragon leave from the castle.
The movie was still not finished and we will know what happened next in “The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies” which is already in post-production. I am so excited!

My Rating

I was in teary eyes after watching this movie. I know it was a little bit exaggerated but I was really inspired by the message of the movie. To those who feel inferior about themselves, you will surely get inspired and will be enlightened that you can be great in your little ways. I will give this movie a five (5) stars!
