The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Review
The story is based on the novel of J.R.R Tolkien, which is relatively related to “Lord of the Rings”. The main character here was Bilbo Baggins and his unexpected journey with the dwarves and Gandalf to reclaim “Erebor” that was stolen by a vile dragon. The movie also showed how Bilbo Baggins got the “Ring” from “Gollum”. So it is barely connected to “Lord of the Rings”.
My Review
When I have first attempted to watch this movie, it was fuzzy for me to understand how the story goes and got there since I still don’t know the story of “Lord of the Rings” since I haven’t watched it. So I would strongly recommend that you better watch first “Lord of The Rings” for you to understand the whole twist of the story, it will really help you understand more the story and you will be captivated by how J.R.R Tolkien had connected this two epic stories.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was an awesome and magnificent movie for me. It was filled with inspirational scenes that will surely touch your heart. The screenplay writers have done a job well done for the character scripts were fraught with powerful words and phrases that are very nourishing to the mind and soul.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Official Trailer 2
I also commend the director of the movie “Peter Jackson” for making an incredible and epic film again after “Lord of the Rings” series. I cannot forget the theme song of the movie, which was “Song of the Lonely Mountain” by Howard Shore. It was very harmonious and I can’t help myself replaying the song. It makes me teary; it makes me feel the way how dwarves felt after their kingdom was stolen by a dragon.
I thought the movie was just like the other normal movie, but I too wrong because it was more than a movie, it was a masterpiece and a great creation. The movie lets me realize that there is greatness in all sizes that even a small Halfling creature has a capacity to be great. Damn! I am very inspired by this movie, I really felt it.
My Rating
This was the second time I felt great empathy for a movie after “Titanic”. This would be my second favorite movie not just because of the great story, but it was filled with inspiration, an inspiration that strengthens me as a person. This movie deserves to be applauded, this movie deserves a perfect rating!
