Why YOU Should Always Choose Passion OVER Money

If you are really passionate about doing what you love to do, but it’s not making you a lot of money, will you still do it? Are you still up continuing doing it for the rest of your life?

Money makes the world go round. Perhaps, people are controlled by what money can give them. It seems that money has become their motivation in life just to survive. Well, don’t worry, it’s not like that most of the times. It’s not that we’re greedy in life, rather money helps us to strive in life. Let’s stick with that fundamental concept- yes, that’s true. But, is dragging your butt just to earn hundreds, thousands of money really what you want to do in life? Is that your purpose why you’re living? Mind you, you’ve got a passion, right? What do you wanna do? Singing? Dancing? Acting? Writing? Gymnastics? Or what? If you don’t know it yourself, then start searching for what you love to do in life, your desires, your passion.

When you’re doing something, loving it is important. Doing things that you love or doing something that is leading you in loving it, makes the best of you come out. Say you’re an engineer. Nothing’s wrong with that, it’s a very noble profession. But, let’s say you don’t love numbers, designs and other things connected with being an engineer. Chances are, you will love the money, but not your work.

You can learn to love it, but most of the times when your mindset is not following you, it just won’t work. Here are some things I consider why following your passion is more important than being focused on the money you can get, even if you’re not loving what you do.

You enjoy doing what you love and loving what you do.

Do you think waking up every morning and preparing yourself to go to work will help you enjoy life? Some people are complaining about it every now and then. But, there wouldn’t be any issue if you are passionate about the work you’re up to. If you are not obliged to go somewhere else and work for someone, that’s the time I am sure you’ll enjoy

You don’t care about time

There are times that when you are working on something, you’ll be needing to exert an extra time just to accomplish it before your day ends. You are more motivated doing it when you love doing it. Without considering the money that might be part in extending your time, it is much easier for you to finish things up if you’re happy doing it so. Putting in extra time of yours does not hurt as much because there’s no feeling of being forced to do so and that makes it more enjoyable on your part, right?

You come up with the best ideas for you.

When you don’t love what you do and there comes a situation that you have to express your ideas towards it, towards on improving the system that is needed upon it, do you think there will be great ideas that will come upon your mind? I’m pretty much sure you won’t.

You are unstoppable

When you are really passionate about what you are doing, no one and nothing can stop you from accomplishing it. There's no hindrance in your way if you are passionate about things that you do and that makes you achieve the greatness of the outcome of it. Anything and anyone that comes along the way is easily accepted and you come up with the great solution in solving it.

Money Follows

If you’re passionate about what you’re doing, the money will follow. Just like what I’ve mentioned above, you will put extra time, extra effort, get things accomplished and the most important thing, be happy with the result.

But, if you can’t get a living with passion, you will still find a way on how. Switching to other things, loving the things you don’t love is the only way you’ve got to attend to find the passion for the things you have to involve yourself. In the end, it’s only you who could find real happiness in what you do.

Life’s too short to be living miserably doing something you’re not happy with. Choose to be happy. Remember, choose a job that you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life.
